Hugo
The message of Hugo is being broken and homeless. Hugo struggles through this whole movie by having to hide from an inspector while running around in a factory looking for parts to finish his automation. The inspector was also an orphan when he was young just like Hugo so he doesn’t have a lot of respect for them.
The man that owns the toy shop is also broken because he is not doing what he loves anymore he used to direct and play in his own movies. Now he is hopeless and angry all the time because he is not doing what he loves to do.
Isabel is also broken because she does not have parents she lives with her grandparents her grandfather is the one that owns the toy shop. Isabel likes to read a lot of books and hang out with Hugo but still does not know her purpose in life. Isabel works with Hugo on trying to get his automation working again while doing this they are broken thinking about there parents a lot.
Another Message this movie tries to tell you is to finish your dreams no matter what it takes. Hugo’s only dream is to finish what he and his father started once he accomplished his dream he tries to figure out the message his father was trying to tell him.

There is a new drug on the street named NZT this drug can allow you to use one hundred percent of your brain. NZT is a small round white pill with no engravings on it currently not FDA approved this drug is highly addictive and if you make a choice to try and quit it could kill or make you very sick then die. Eddie wanted to experiment with NZT receiving it from an old friend when he consumes the pill he starts to read things and understand them faster than any person in the world also making him able to focus and accomplish anything he wants to do.

Currently Eddie is an unemployed writer living in a dirty small apartment while on the drug he walks into his apartment realizing that he can’t live like this. While cleaning and organizing the apartment he realizes all about this drug how it makes you feel and makes you very smart. Motivated Eddie looks over at his laptop and words pop up in his head and he creates a story for his boss the next morning he woke up his apartment was clean and his book was finally complete.

Once he turned his story into his boss he received a call back ten minutes later saying that this story is amazing. That point in time he realizes that he needs more NZT while under control of his dealer he walks down stairs to get coffee for him when he gets back into his dealers room he finds him shot and dead on the ground. He knows whoever did this wanted the NZT at the same time he looks around for the NZT realizes his dealer liked to cook he found over one thousand pills under his oven.

Eddie is increasing his dosage taking more and more every day not realizing what it does to him at the same time he figured out a way to play with the stock market and make a lot of cash. Eddie’s ex-girlfriend called him hopping he would not be doing the NZT so he wanted to know more about what he was taking besides what he knew. She tells him that this drug is killing and making people very sick and she use to take it until she figured out that it was killing people.

Eddie is running for governor also having many labs creating this drug and tweaking it making it better. He quit the drug currently and he does not need to take NZT anymore because he took it so much and tweaked it so that now it is stuck with him for the rest of his life.

Planet of the Apes

How does Planet of the Apes deal with the clash between science and religion? Planet of the Apes has a lot to do with science how they get there is science also the time and place is science. There using science almost the whole movie by using future, past and present. When they arrive at the Apes planet the day is shown two thousand years in the future.
There are many statements and examples of science in this movie. For example there are scientists that study on man and when they arrive at this planet everything is backwards the Apes are in control of man. Also when finding plant life on this universe they use science to know that there is other life on this planet. Towards the end of the movie he realizes he is still in New York because the statue of liberty is rusted and halfway buried in sand.
The Apes use religion way different than ours in this film. For example when Taylor writes something in the sand trying to show that he is able to talk and write Cornelius knows and messes up the sand so nobody knows about him. Apes religion is hiding a lot from the public so nobody knows more like a need to know basis. Also they execute and put man in jail for being a part of that species or not knowing about their god or religion.
There is a lot of danger that arises because of no separation of government and religion. For example when Taylor finally breaks free out of jail he is running around beating Apes trying to get away. They throw a net on Taylor capturing him when they caught him he finally has the power to talk saying “Get your hands of me you dirty Ape.”
Like I explained there is many ways they deal with the clash between science and religion on this planet. When they arrive on the planet the rest of the movie is based on religion just because humans were the animals while Apes were the humans

This movie is based on a hero named Judah Ben Hur he might not have superpowers or be able to fly. He was a hero just for being a Gentleman and having alot of respect for other people. Judah was known to care for other people before himself also one of the first to earn Christ's respect. Judah never hurt anyone in this epic story he used his words to do his work I personally think he is to kind and caring to ever hurt anybody.

Judah had an ability to survive three years on a boat while the rest of slaves only lasted 4-6 months i personally believe he has a little immortal in him during this point of the movie. This whole movie he has only one quest he tries to accomplish witch is trying to find his mother and sister. His mother and sister were talken to jail by the emperor of Rome. Judah is oftened tested by the emperor of Rome when he goes downstairs while Judah is rowing the boat the emperor makes them row faster and faster just to see if Judah can hang on and last.

Ofcourse he did not accomplish all this he received help from the Arab's they let Judah use there horses in the Chariot race's which Judah is undefeated. Judah went and did things that Jew's would never go do tons of unordinary things he did. There is one low point of this movie Judah was forced to walk many miles without water when suddenly he fainted and gave up. Until Jesus Christ showed up and gave him water which gave Judah enough power to live and walk the rest of the way.

There is not necessarily an ressurection in this movie but there is a mirracle. Judah went into slavery for a total of four years and came back more powerfull than Mesalla ever was.

The conclusion in this movie was a very happy ending getting his family back. Also has a new wife Ester now all of them are able to rest in peace for there whole life.

Pro's and con's

There are many pro’s and con’s in using dance to tell a story many of the pro’s and con’s depending on if the people that are watching or listening like it. Everybody has there own opinion on certain movie types I personally think that a movie that uses the whole two hours your watching it to sing and dance are terrible movies except for movies like singing in the rain. It might still be a musical but the whole entire movie was not just singing and dancing it had a story to it that involved conversation, Problems and solutions like a regular story. Some of the things I don’t like about a musical is sometimes I just want to watch and find out what happens in the story and when a song comes on in the middle of a story that’s sad or interesting I get very mad cause I just want to finish the movie.
Let’s say you’re watching a movie and little Timmy over there is about to die. By a knife or gun shot then a musical comes on right before anything happens and Timmy is singing on what he did and why he has to die. Those kinds of musicals make me angry cause that does not actually happen in real life and I like the movie to get as close as it can to being realistic.
So if you were to do a musical, I believe you should not be able to put more than six songs in the movie. It might have been popular back in the day but now people are loosing interest in musicals. Unless you can find a way for people to start getting interest in musicals again. Or you would have to have everyone like a certain type of music or you could try to; start putting rock in them or hip hop you will never get as many sells as they did back in the day.
Now I’m going to explain the pro’s well when Don Lockwood was walking down the street after getting a kiss then a big smile appeared on his face and he started to sing in the rain was perfect moment to launch a song in the movie. Right at the moment he is in the rain walking down the street it is a boring and dull moment.
Finishing off my examples and explanations of using songs in movies is an argued subject. Personally I think this question is more of an opinion for each person because it really does matter if the person likes the type of music or not. Honestly if you were to put a sixteen year old in a movie theatre watching a musical about jazz or classic songs they will find no interest in it compared to if you played there kind of music in the movie they would like it a lot.
